B&t Apc9 Glock - The APC9 PRO accepts Glock magazines and is the next evolution of the existing APC family. With a double-sided non-reciprocating charging handle and other advanced features, the APC PRO is an excellent choice for police duty and thus an attractive weapon for sport shooting. The APC9 and GHM9 models are compatible with these Glock lowers, and the firearm has a -G suffix to distinguish them from standard B&T lowers.
As far as I can tell, the top is the critical part of this firearm (in the US), so the bottom means it's empty.
If needed, a new Glock lower unit is available only at a reduced price to upgrade your current firearm.
It wasn't mentioned in B&T's press release, but as you can see, the bottom has an AR-15 style pistol grip (confirmed as a Magpul grip).

B&T Switzerland Press Release Since many law enforcement agencies around the world carry the 9x19mm Glock pistol as a sidearm, the fact that these magazines can also be used in machine guns/police carbines gives any user a significant tactical advantage. B&T now offers the perfect modern solution for these needs.
Typically, police carbines/machine guns and police pistols have different magazines, even though they both use the same 9x19mm cartridge. In many situations, especially active shooter/terror scenarios, this can be a huge tactical disadvantage. If a police officer could use all the ammunition he carries in both weapons (pistol and SMG), he would have a significant advantage if both weapons used the same magazine. That's why B&T has developed two new police carbines, the APC9-G and GHM9-G, both of which use standard double-column Glock magazines. As the name suggests, these two new police weapons are based on the mounted APC9 and GHM9 carbines. B&T uses the proven uppers from these guns and adds new custom-designed lowers that accommodate double-stack Glock magazines. This allows it to be used with all magazines and aftermarket magazines from the 10 round Glock 26 to the Glock 17 and 19 magazines and 32 round magazines. The new lower is only available as a lower gun to upgrade existing APC9 or GHM9 guns, and of course as a complete gun with an APC9 or GHM9 upper. The customer can choose the most suitable system according to his needs. All systems offer full ambidextrous controls (safety, bolt lock/release, magazine release and rotary charging handle). One of the important points in the construction of the –G systems, which will be available from the end of 2018, was to maintain the highest standard of safety. Therefore, the weapon does not accidentally double fire during loading like most 9mm M4 systems, and the safety can be engaged by cocking the hammer down.
The bolt lock release and some other controls also appear to have been updated to accommodate Glock magazines.
